Thats right the Christian Chattanooga TN loves to HATE.
Lets gets to it. In Matt 14 the disciples were sent out on a boat and they ran into a massive storm, They are all in the boat afraid for their lives as the storm rages around them. They look out and they see Jesus walking on the water toward them. The disciples think it must be a ghost. But Jesus tells them not to be afraid that its really him. Peter says well if its you then call me out to walk on the water.
Hold up
Now, I don't know about you guys but when i look at water much less raging storm water I ussually don't consider walking on it as a possibility. But the word of God says in
Matt 19:26 .. with men this is immpossible with God all things are possible
Jesus says "Come". Peter steps out the boat and walks on the water. Then he gets distracted and starts looking at the storm and he begins to sink. As long as Peter was focused on the word of God he was able to do the miraculous but as soon as he started to move in fear based on what he saw and heard he began to sink.
Isa 11:5 His delight is in the fear of the lord, and he shall not judge by the sight of his eyes nor decide by the hearing of his ears
Storms are symbolic of trials. If you got trouble today thats a storm in your life. You have to learn not to judge the outcomes of storms by what you see or what you hear. You may see a great army looking to take you down. You may see a doctors report of a evil disease. But if you are a child of God your reality is not what you see or hear its what God said. You have to move in Faith and not Fear. Of course your enemies are going to try to sow fear and pain in your life. They will lie in a attempt to get you to act in Fear. But the word of god says
Eph 5:6 Let no one decive you with empty words for because of these things the wraith of God comes upon the sons of disobedence
Don't listen to your enemies... listen to God. Your enemies are liars just like thier spirtual father
John 8:44 [speaking of the devil] He is a liar and the father of it
Rom 3:4 Let God be true and every man a liar
God's word is true. Anything you see or hear that does not line up with the word of god is a lie.
I'm going to repeat that, ANYTHING you hear, see, smell, think or feel that does not line up with the word of God is a lie from the pits of hell or Aminocola highway. (inside joke)
Now listen the motavation behind your spirtual attack is this simple. The devil wants you to believe what you see and hear over Gods word. He is attacking your faith. For example in the book of Job, Satan was talking about Job to God and said
Job 1:11 But now stretch out your hand and touch all that he has and he will surely curse you to your face
Satan just stated that the desired goal of the trial for him was to attack all that he had meaning what he could see, touch or feel in order to get Job to curse God. The enemy is trying to talk you out of your faith.So when the enemy comes and tells you that this will happen or that will happen or the enemy drives its cars in big circles wasting gas or the enemy spends over a million dollars going after a three thousand dollar car. You have to understand that what you see does not matter its what God said that matters. I know to the unsaved mind that sounds crazy , but the word says
1 Cor 1:18 For the message of the cross is fullishness to thoose who are perishing but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
My enemies say you are crazy you talk to a god you caqn;t see
My enemies say you are a fool to trust god with your saftey
My enemies say we can see you naked
My enemies say we talk about you
My enemies say we dont care about God
My enemies say we will always hate you eventhough we don't know you.
My enemies say god doesn't hear your prayers.
You are not getting a healing.. just because you no longer need reading glasses or contacts.. DUH!
My enemies NEED a spirtual ENEMA.
My enemies have been saying for five years that they would kill me and stop me but the God that they mock has preserved me. I don't know a lot of things i am just a simple guy. Who would have ever thought i would be in this situation. But i tell you now that i am glad for it because it deepened my relationship with Christ. I know him in ways i never would have known him because of this trial.
Ps 119:71 It was good for me that I have been afflicted so that i could learn your ways
So now when you see me driving down the street followed by 100 cars and i am smiling and happy as a born again christian at a TD Jakes megafest you will know its because my eyes are upon the lord and not you. I am fully invested in the word of God. I belive the word and not what i see or hear. The God that created the universe and me said
Isa 55:11 So shall my word that goes forth from my mouth, it shall not return to me void; But it shall accomplish what i please,And it shall prosper in the thing for which i send it
God says his word will accomplish things, God says his word will prosper in the thing that contains it. I got some word in me and its going to accomplish what pleases my God. In the heat of my trial I have been spirtually matured and made more useful for God. I can look someone in the face and tell them everyone said this.. but look what the Lord has done. I live in a community where people think that trying to murder someone because they have thier own car is a good idea. I live in a community where people would pimp out thier daughters to try to murder someone. I live in a community where pastors and people in authority use thier positions to harm people. Thats where I live, but God sends the brightests lights to the darkesst places and I believe that my testimony can provide hope to the remnant of good people that still are hiding somewhere in chattanooga tn.
The light of God has come to bring thoose few in the city who think murder is wrong, and believe me thier are very few, HOPE. God still LIVES, God still LOVES ... God still SAVES his people
rejoice.. the kingdom is at hand
My enemies have failed because i believe God.
